Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

North American Indian Chamber of Commerce ("NA-ICC," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for our email updates and our SMS/text messaging program.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us — such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and any message — when you submit a form on our website, sign up to receive updates, register for an event, or join as a member. We also collect basic technical and analytics data to operate and improve our website.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, send confirmations for actions you take (such as contact-form submissions, event registrations, and membership), send the updates and event announcements you have opted in to receive, operate our programs, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Email Communications and Your Consent

Everyone on our email list is there because they chose to be — by submitting a form on our website, registering for one of our events, or joining as a member and agreeing to hear from us. We do not buy, rent, or scrape email addresses, and we never add anyone without their consent. Every non-transactional email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests immediately. See "Your Choices" below for how to unsubscribe.

SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in, we send event reminders and announcements by text message (the "NA-ICC Alerts" program). You opt in by checking the dedicated SMS consent box on our website and providing your mobile number. Messages are recurring — up to about 10 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your phone number only with the service providers that deliver the texts you requested (our SMS provider and the mobile carriers), for that purpose only.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our website and communications (such as email and SMS delivery and website analytics), and where required by law. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the footer of any update we send, or by emailing info@na-icc.org with the word "Unsubscribe." You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
